PLANNING - STRATEGY - ENGAGE

In the early days of my career, I lacked a clear sense of direction. I found myself in a cycle of high-pressure jobs with huge targets that never seemed to let up. The constant pressure left me feeling like I was always falling short. Over time, the repeated burnouts took a toll, not just on my career and health, but on my personal life too. By the age of 35, I was a single dad with two young children, and I realised something had to change.

That turning point marked the beginning of my own development journey. I left behind conventional employment, studied rigorously, passed professional exams, and devoured every personal development book I could find. I immersed myself in learning - listening to hours of expert content, attending training courses to learn from experts far more experienced than me, I still do.

I connected with successful entrepreneurs who supported and guided me, helping me grow both professionally and personally.  That path led me to launch my own financial broking practice, which grew into a broader role in building financial advisory firms, culminating in a series of successful exits.

About Me

Contact me and tell me about your story and let's see how we can work together.

Looking back at those turbulent early years, I realise what I needed most then… was the version of me I’ve become today.

Now, I’m fortunate to enjoy a portfolio career. I continue as a regulated Financial Adviser, specialising in protection planning for businesses and professionals. But primarily, I’m a Business Consultant and Executive Coach through my company, Opus Consulting Ltd. I also serve as a part-time NED for various start-ups and invest in promising ventures where I can.

Outside work, I’m happily married with four grown-up children—and I am a proud grandfather. I keep active through triathlons, stay involved with local charities and schools, and have a lifelong love for cars.

Throughout my career, I’ve faced my fair share of challenges, setbacks, and hard won triumphs, each one shaping my professional and personal growth.
